Devil in the Details
One of the leading cartoonists for the New Yorker, Roz Chast has published more than one thousand cartoons in the magazine since 1978. She uses the trope of wives and husbands misunderstanding one another in her irregular series Mixed Marriage. While she claims to be apolitical in her work, an undertone of political and social satire can be detected in some of her cartoons. |
