A Tale from the Small Press Expo
Jared Cullum is an independent cartoonist, plein-air artist, and teacher, now based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 2013, while still living and working in Richmond, Virginia, Cullum created an eight-page story based on his experience at SPX. Told in a gentle and heartfelt way, using animals to represent the people around him, Cullum tells the story of the excitement of an introverted artist selling his art on the crowded expo floor. |
