Melinda Robertson's experience as a teen mother inspired her to write her first novel, "Motherhood…What You Don't Know!" in 2005 and, in 2007, she released a companion book for boys, "Fatherhood…What You Don't Know!" Her 2014 novel, "Mistaken Identity," told the story of a thirty-something single woman whose seemingly successful life masked a well of unhappiness.
