Canden Schwantes Arciniega is a local historian and Washington, D.C. tour guide who manages Free Tours by Foot, an international walking tour company. When she's not regaling tourists with stories about the history of her favorite neighborhoods, she volunteers at the Historical Society of Washington, D.C. Her newest book is "Wild Women of Washington, D.C.: A History of Disorderly Conduct from the Ladies of the District," and she is also the author of "Wicked Georgetown: Scoundrels, Sinners and Spies." |
