Glen Mourning is the author of Crunchy Life: Recess Detention and four other books in his "Crunchy Life" series, which he wrote to inspire young people like himself who grew up in urban America to get an education and fulfill their full potential. The first of five siblings to graduate from college and earn a master's degree, Mourning writes that he is "blessed to lead by example."
