Rosa's Nieces and Nephews

In 1946 Sylvester and Daisy McCauley moved to Detroit. They purchased a house in the southwest section near River Rouge. Sylvester planted a garden to feed his large family. On Sundays Rosa helped cook dinner using vegetables and fruits from the garden. She doted on her thirteen nieces and nephews and became a surrogate mother to them after their parents' deaths.
