Superheroes
Larger-than-life heroes have been a staple in American literature, but when Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster introduced Superman to the pages of Action, no. 1 in 1938, a new genre of comics literature was born. With merchandise, motion pictures, television shows, and comic strip tie-ins, its publishers built an empire. Stephen Geppi found his passion for comics in Batman. As an adult he brought his passion to collecting, and when he started selling his duplicates, Geppi discovered he could support his family with his hobby. As the owner of Diamond Distributors, he sells comic books and related merchandise nationally. |
