For the family of J. Horace and Berry Lacy, this room was a primary setting for entertainment and family gatherings, furnished in a way befitting one of the region's wealthiest families. This depiction of the room is based on paint samples, inventories of Lacy family's possessions, surviving artifacts, and common decorative examples of the period. |
