Klingle Avenue (being reclaimed)
This is one of the roads that runs into Rock Creek Parkway near the National Zoo. They apparently decided to stop maintaining the road and have let nature take it back again. This may have been because the road flows into a fairly ritzy area of the city. In any case, it's now a largely abandonned sidewalk. |
