Bird Nesting Area
DC's Official Bird, the Wood Thrush, and many other species nest and raise their young in Rock Creek Park during the spring. These birds' numbers are in decline and need our help.
Please keep dogs on leash and cats inside so they don't disturb or attack birds during this important season.
