The King's Mountain battlefield lay silent with little or no activity until July 4, 1815 when Dr. William McLean honored his friends, Maj. William Chronicle, Capt. John Mattocks, William Rabb, and John Boyd. A memorial to Maj. Patric Ferguson was placed on the back of the tablet. |
