In 2015, San Franciscan sculptor Jud Bergeron created a limited edition bronze of a fleeing HST, after Steadman's classic Fear and Loathing portrait, complete with cigarette holder, Hawaiian shirt, white bucket hat and "medicine" spilling from his kit-bag.
The Vintage Dr. Gonzo sculpture was unveiled at Steadman's 2015 print show, Printin' Backwuds, at Lazarides Editions, Upper Ground, London. Each of the fifty numbered and dated copies is signed by Steadman. |
