In 1961, Steadman began studying at the London College of Printing and Graphic Arts. In the early 1960s he purchased the complete contents of a printer's studio, including a printing press, for the princely sum of £75. Over the year he has made extensive use of the printing blocks and type, which occupy one whole room in his studio. |
