During the creation of the Audible Accompaniment to the Retrospective, director, Michael Epstein asked Ralph to demonstrate some of his signature techniques, including starting a picture with a blot, the mouth atomizer, use of compass and malleable ruler and cross-hatch drawing with ink and nib. The artwork he produced is the Audible Flower. |
