Movie Costume from Eight Men Out. Several Hoosiers, including the Reds' Hall of Fame outfielder Eddie Roush of Oakland City, played in the 1919 World Series. None were implicated in the scandal and Roush maintained, bitterly, that his Reds would have won the Series regardless of whether the Sox were throwing games. |
