Celebrated architect Frank Lloyd Wright once owned this set of three books, reflecting his interest in Hokusai and ukiyo-e prints. Initially produced between 1834 and around 1849, the set includes Hokusai's take on a hundred views of Mount Fuji, Japan's sacred peak. The final pages of the third volume contain the artist's personal declaration that he began sketching at the age of six and hoped to live to 110 in order to achieve true mastery in painting.
