Choose to Reuse to Save our Streams

Join us in pledging to use reusable beverage bottles. Single-use plastic bottles are a major source of the plastic problem. Americans throw away over 35 billion plastic bottles each year -- if laid end to end, that's enough bottles to travel to the moon and back ten times!

Utah's Hogle Zoo is helping to solve the problem. As of Earth Day 2019, the Zoo no longer sells single-use plastic water and soda bottles. Why? Because this action will remove 50,000 plastic bottles per years from the waste stream.

Saving our streams and the habitats around them is important to the Zoo's staff. This action will help make Utah's waterways a healthier place for all of us. You can join our plastic bottle free movement by pledging to use a reusable water bottle.
