Daisy the Polar Bear

Daisy sits on a melting iceberg to symbolize the habitat loss currently happening in the arctic due to climate change. Polar bears have adapted to hunt their main food source, seals, or arctic ice shelves. As those shelves shrink due to a warming world, polar bears struggle to find new food sources. Although most of us will never see a polar bear in the wild, they are an example of how our actions affect species globally. We are part of a global system, and it is our responsibility to make choices that do not harm the species we share our world with.
