Brochure for La Fonda. La Fonda was built in 1922 on the site of the old Exchange Hotel. In 1926, it was purchased by the Santa Fe Railway and leased to the Fred Harvey Company. The Harvey Company renovated the existing building, and Mary Jane Colter redecorated the interior of the hotel. La Fonda was operated by the Harvey Company from 1926 to 1968. |
