White House pastry chef serving (literally) five Presidents, Roland Mesnier, passed on August 26, 2022. He was famous for his White House Gingerbread houses which went on display for the White House holiday tours. Ironically, because those houses were exposed to people and their coughs for weeks on end, they were never consumed. |
