While I was in Fort Lauderdale, I saw the King Tut exhibit. I can't say I was all that impressed by it. The real gems of the collection haven't left Egypt since the big tour 30 years before. These were definitely also-rans. The picture they show, which you think is one of the four body coffins he was buried in, is actually a doll-sized coffin that was used to hold his mummified liver. |
