Demonstrations in front of the White House continued on Saturday, June 6, 2020. The previous day, the mayor of DC, Muriel Bowser, had ordered "BLACK LIVES MATTER" to be painted in huge yellow letters on 16th Street and the block was renamed accordingly. With posters around calling the child president "Bunker B*tch", the mayor was hailed for standing up to the child president. Fairly quickly though, chalk messages written on the street criticized her administration's close relationship with the police and "DEFUND THE POLICE M4BL" appeared next to the BLM street writing. |
