Dedicated in memory of the founder of HEROES Incorporated, an organization created solely for the purpose of caring for survivors of fallen firefighters and law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty in the Metropolitan Washington Region. Dr. Doggett founded HEROES Inc. in 1964 and continued to be active with the organization until his passing on August 13, 2008.
