Dave Blaylock
Dave enlisted in the US Army from 1968-1971 and served in Vietnam in 1969. He was active in the "GIs and WACs United Against the War" organization at Fort McClellan in Anniston, Alabama, and in the production of Left Face, a GI underground newspaper. Following discharge, Dave worked with the United States Servicemen's Fund. In this photograph he holds a copy of a full page ad signed by 1,366 active duty soldiers that ran in The New York Times on November 9, 1969. |
