Cory Trepanier's
Into the Arctic

The Canadian Arctic is one of the last great wilderness regions on earth. It is seldom travelled and painted even less.

Over the course of four extensive, back-breaking Arctic expeditions, artist Cory Trépanier pushed north past the tree line to set up his easel in places never before captured on canvas. Experiencing the land and sea firsthand, he tackled challenges few encounter, all for the sake of his art.

The result is a body of work depicting some of the most remote and wild reaches of the North American continent, which collectively forms a testament to one of our planet's most spectacular yet fragile environments.
