The 2013 "People's Tree" is a majestic Engelmann spruce, harvested from the Colville National Forest in the far northeastern corner of Washington State. This special tree traveled more than 5000 miles and made dozens of stops across the country, sharing the mission of our national forests. Our national forest provide important habitat for wildlife, clean air and water, wood and other products for human use, and wild places for recreation and spiritual renewal. The Colville National Forest, the State of Washington, Choose Outdoors and many partners, communities, and sponsors are proud to share this gift from nature with the American people.

* 32 inch diameter at the base
* Drinks 30 gallons of water a day
* 5000 ornaments hand made by school children from across the State of Washington
