Between 1890 and 1960, Calvert Hall College, a Catholic college preparatory high school, stood directly south of the Pratt Library on the corner of Cathedral and Mulberry Streets. Since 1845, the Brothers of the Christian Schools, commonly known as the Christian Brothers, have guided the school. Today, Calvert Hall is located in Baltimore County. |
