Blue Dragon
A National Gallery / National Trust Partnership
Paul and Tansy's depiction of the Blue Iguana is the most realistic of all of the "Dragons" on the island and was purposefully placed here at the Botanic Park to assist with the educational aspects of the Blue Iguana Recovery Programme.
-- Paul Archer and Tansy Maki
The Grand Cayman Blue Iguana is the most endangered iguana in the world. Less than 30 are believed to survive in the wild today.
The National Trust is dedicated to preserving the Iguanas with a captive breading programme at the QEII Botanic Park. Please help us to help them. TEL: 949 0121
