On May 14, 2015, it was announced that Harry Shearer -- the voice of Montgomery Burns, Ned Flanders, Principal Seymour Skinner. Reverend Lovejoy and Kent Brockman on "The Simpsons" -- would not appear in the show's 27th and 28th season. CNN reports that he would have been paid $14 million for those two years on the show. That's about $318,000/episode, each of which takes about 6 hours to record. Yep. About $880/minute. |
