The existing light fixtures throughout the Cottage are period appropriate reproductions. However, they are placed in their original locations. Tracking the original gas lines to the location of the fixture was no easy task. Pulse radar and metal detection were not entirely sufficient in tracking the gas lines. The process was completed by sending a radio signal through an exposed section of gas line and tracking the signal as it ran through the walls, floors and ceilings. |
