The Seuss Bakery

Ted Geisel's Grandmother and Grandfather's last name was Seuss,
They lived in Springfield and owned a bakery that was put to good use.
The bakery made pretzels and custards, and best of all, pies!
The treats were scrumptuous and there were nearly too many to categorize.
Ted's mother Henrietta worked at the bakery too,
She never forgot the jingle she sang to help the family make do.
The song went like this, and it was rhythmic, oh gosh!
"Apple, mince, lemon... peach, apricot, pineapple... blueberry, coconut, custard and SQUASH!"
