When I saw the vandalism of the monuments near the White House, I thought for sure the Albert Pike statue, being the only Confederate general with a public statue in the city, would have been hit by graffiti. But it hadn't been touched. I figured it was only a matter of time though so I photographed it a bunch.
Twelve days later, the statue was lynched by protestors -- torn down and burned. |
