One of the features of Animal Kingdom is in the "Africa" section (like every Disney park, they segment the park into distinctly themed sub-parks). It features a ride called Kilimanjaro Safaris, where you board a bus and go out in the simulated savanna. When the park portion of Animal Kingdom opened, Disney hired a bunch of zoo curators to take care of the animals, including quite a few from the National Zoo in Washington DC. |
