I am Samuel Rea. I started working on the survey crew for the Pennsylvania Railroad (PRR) when I was 16 years old. By 1913, I'd risen through the ranks to become PRR's ninth president. I was largely responsible for bringing train service into New York City via electrified tunnels under the Hudson and East Rivers. |
