NATS1_191102_053.JPG: Religious crazies show up wherever. I'm always surprised that they think signs like this will have any influence whatsoever on a non-believer.
Twenty years before, I worked with a guy once who was very religious. He wanted to talk about JC but I wasn't willing to spend the time. He said he had all sorts of writings that would prove the existence of god and JC's role. I said I was willing to read a fairly small text if he thought it would prove everything. He was excited and gave me a relatively short booklet which went on about the need to accept JC as a personal savior. The problem was that if you didn't believe in god in general and JC in specific, the whole text was totally pointless.
Unless you were already a believer, it proved nothing. Unfortunately, since he was a true believer, he couldn't even imagine the view from my side because he couldn't see why anyone wouldn't believe in the first place. It was like trying to have a conversation with a hardcore racist or, years later, with a Trump supporter. Their wires have already been recoded and they can't imagine any other possibilities.

The parade consisted of a lot of these double decker buses, which I initially presumed had players or someone important in them. It turned out that these were sponsored buses -- this one was paid for by PNC Bank.
