Two weeks ago, U.N. Special Rapporteur on Extrajudicial, Summary or Arbitrary Executions Agnes Callamard issued a report on the shocking murder of Jamal Khashoggi, a U.S. resident and columnist for the Washington Post, in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul.
On July 2, Callamard will discuss the details of her report, including both the findings from the six month investigation and her recommendations to the international community to enforce accountability for the violations of international law and norms that Khashoggi's murder represents.

Trips this year:
a four-day jaunt to Massachusetts (Boston, Stockbridge, and Springfield) to experience rain in another state,
Asheville, NC to visit Dad and his wife Dixie,
four trips to New York City (including the United Nations, Flushing, and the New York Comic-Con), and
my 14th consecutive San Diego Comic-Con (including sites in Utah).
Number of photos taken this year: about 582,000.
