Ida E. Jones, Ph.D. is the archivist at Morgan State University. She is a published author and book reviewer. Her research interests are African American biography, Christian/church denominational and organizational history. Ida is avid fan of documentary films and historical fiction. Her work she seeks to provide a platform for historic voices to speak and encourage ordinary people to action. She is a consummate scholar who believes deeply in the words of Mrs. Mary McLeod Bethune, who stated “power must walk hand in hand with humility and the intellect must have a soul.”
Ida is a native New Englander. She came to Washington, D.C., to attend Howard University. She graduated with a B.A. in News Editorial Journalism and a Ph.D. in American History from Howard University.

I love well-behaved spiders! They are, in fact, how most people find my site. Unfortunately, my network has a limited bandwidth and pictures take up bandwidth. Spiders ask for lots and lots of pages and chew up lots and lots of bandwidth which slows things down considerably for regular folk. To counter this, you'll see all the text on the page but the images are being suppressed. Also, some system options like merges are being blocked for you.
