Description of Pictures: To New York with Love: The Bergdorf Goodman Holiday Window
May 08, 2018-February 24, 2019
This past holiday season, the Fifth Avenue department store Bergdorf Goodman featured the New-York Historical Society as part of its legendary holiday window display. "To New York With Love" highlighted seven of New York’s world-renowned cultural institutions as a visual ode to the art, history, music, and film that enrich the city's cultural landscape. Inspired by historic and artistic treasures in New-York Historical's Museum, artist Mark Gagnon reinvented iconic works in papier-mâché, including a Tiffany lamp and a chair that belonged to Marie Antoinette. In this whimsical display, a scaled-down version of the Bergdorf's window, Gagnon plays with size and materials, transforming life-size sculptures into one-foot models and painted portraits into three-dimensional figures.
Exhibitions at New-York Historical are made possible by Dr. Agnes Hsu-Tang and Oscar Tang, the Saunders Trust for American History, the Seymour Neuman Endowed Fund, the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council, and the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature. WNET is the media sponsor.

I still have them though. If you want me to email them to you, please send an email to guthrie.bruce@gmail.com
and I can email them to you, or, depending on the number of images, just repost the page again will the full-sized images.
