Description of Pictures: Comics with a Point of View: Yours and MINE!
Activism in comics has been a growing trend over the past few years, and the current political climate has created an immense need to champion causes. For that reason, ComicMix published Mine!, the Ringo-nominated comic anthology celebrating (and benefiting) the crucial work of Planned Parenthood. The editors, along with some of the contributors, will share why they support PP while exploring the creation of this anthology, and discuss how comics can support all sorts of causes, both yours and… well, you know. Bring your copies of Mine! to get autographed by the panelists and other contributors! Panelists include: June Brigman, Joe Corallo, Glenn Hauman, Molly Jackson, Stuart Moore, and Roy Richardson.
Panel (left to right): Martha Thomases, Glenn Hauman, Dave Kelly, Molly Jackson, Joe Corallo, Stuart Moore, and Louise Simonson.
Recognize anyone? If you recognize specific people (or other things) in the pictures which I haven't labeled, please identify them for the world. Or fill in any other descriptions you can. Click the little pencil icon underneath the file name (just above the picture). Spammers need not apply.

See the [Creative Commons] definition of what this means. "Photos (c) Bruce Guthrie" is fine for attribution. (Commercial use folks can of course contact me.) Feel free to use in publications and pages with attribution but you don't have permission to sell the photos themselves. A free copy of any printed publication using any photographs is requested. Descriptive text, if any, is from a mixture of sources, quite frequently from signs at the location or from official web sites; copyrights, if any, are retained by their original owners.

Bigger photos? To save space on the server and because the modern camera images are so large, photos larger than 640x480 have not been loaded on this page. If you need the bigger sizes of selected photos, email me and I can email them back to you or I can re-load this page temporarily with the bigger versions restored.
2018 photos: Equipment this year: I continued to use my Fuji XS-1 cameras but, depending on the event, I also used a Nikon D7000.
Trips this year:
Civil War Trust conferences in Greenville, NC, Newport News, VA, and my farewell event with them in Chicago, IL (via sites in Louisville, KY, St. Louis, MO, and Toledo, OH),

my 13th consecutive trip to San Diego Comic-Con (including sites in Reno, Sacramento, San Francisco, and Los Angeles).
Number of photos taken this year: about 535,000.
