On April 25, The Washington Post and Reporters Without Borders (RSF) held a conversation on freedom of the press around the world, including a presentation of RSF’s 2018 World Press Freedom Index, which examines the degree of freedom that journalists, news organizations and citizens enjoy in more than 180 countries. The presentation was followed by a panel discussion with journalists moderated by Washington Post Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter, Dana Priest.

Karoun Demirjian covers national security policy on Capitol Hill, with a focus on defense, foreign policy, intelligence and matters concerning the judiciary. She was previously a correspondent based in The Washington Post's bureau in Moscow.

(August twice, October) three trips to New York City (including New York Comic-Con), and
(September) Chicago, IL for my CWT swansong event..
