Description of Pictures: Journalism/Works: A Conversation with Kathy Gannon:
A conversation with Kathy Gannon, veteran Associated Press correspondent who was shot and seriously wounded in Afghanistan in 2014 in an attack by an Afghan policeman in which her AP colleague, photographer Anja Niedringhaus, was killed. Gannon will be keynote speaker earlier Monday at the annual rededication of the Newseum’s Journalists Memorial. Gannon, a Canadian journalist, has reported on Afghanistan and Pakistan for the AP since mid-1980s. She is a former Edward R. Murrow Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York and the author of a book “I Is for Infidel: From Holy War to Holy Terror: 18 Years Inside Afghanistan.“
“Journalism/Works” is an ongoing program of the Newseum Institute that focuses on journalism that matters — news reports in print, broadcast and online that produce change, provide insight and that fulfill the “watchdog on government” mission envisioned for a free press in the First Amendment.
Kathy was interviewed by Gene Policinski from the Newseum.

Help? The Medium (Email) links are for screen viewing and emailing. You'll want bigger sizes for printing. [Click here for additional help]
Bigger photos? To save server space, the full-sized versions of these images have either not been loaded to the server or have been removed from the server. (Only some pages are loaded with full-sized images and those usually get removed after three months.)
I still have them though. If you want me to email them to you, please send an email to guthrie.bruce@gmail.com
and I can email them to you, or, depending on the number of images, just repost the page again will the full-sized images.
