Description of Pictures: National Security and the First Amendment
7 p.m. Program in the Annenberg Theater
8 p.m. Reception in the ABC News Changing Exhibits Gallery
Join us for a rare public appearance by FBI Director James B. Comey. He will participate in a discussion with Newseum CEO Jeffrey Herbst on "National Security and the First Amendment" in honor of the exhibit opening of "Inside Today's FBI: Fighting Crime in the Age of Terror.
To mark the opening of the new exhibit “Inside Today’s FBI: Fighting Crime in the Age of Terror,” Newseum CEO Jeffrey Herbst will interview FBI Director James B. Comey on national security and the First Amendment.
The special evening program will highlight the ongoing challenge of combating terrorism and cybercrime.
Comey was sworn in as the seventh FBI director in September 2013. Prior to becoming director, he was general counsel for investment fund Bridgewater and Associates, and general counsel and senior vice president for defense contractor Lockheed Martin. From 2003 to 2005, he was deputy attorney general at the Justice Department.
“Inside Today’s FBI” goes behind the scenes of the bureau to explore how crime and crime-fighting have evolved in the post-9/11 age. As the nation’s top crime-fighting force embarks on its second century, the exhibit explores how the FBI detects and disrupts terrorists both at home and abroad, and thwarts powerful cyber criminals who steal data and money.

Help? The Medium (Email) links are for screen viewing and emailing. You'll want bigger sizes for printing. [Click here for additional help]
Bigger photos? To save server space, the full-sized versions of these images have either not been loaded to the server or have been removed from the server. (Only some pages are loaded with full-sized images and those usually get removed after three months.)
I still have them though. If you want me to email them to you, please send an email to guthrie.bruce@gmail.com
and I can email them to you, or, depending on the number of images, just repost the page again will the full-sized images.
