Description of Pictures: 9th Annual Showcase of Academy AwardŽ–Nominated Documentaries and Short Subjects:
The National Archives Experience hosts the ninth annual free screenings of the Academy AwardŽ nominees in four categories—Documentary Feature, Documentary Short Subject, Live Action Short Film, and Animated Short Film.
The screenings are presented by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in partnership with the Charles Guggenheim Center for the Documentary Film and the Foundation for the National Archives.
Welcoming remarks were provided by Tom Nastick, Producer, Public Programs, National Archives.
Introductory remarks were made by Margaret Parsons, Curator, Department of Film Programs, National Gallery of Art.
Live Action Short Film Nominees
