Description of Pictures: The Annual Golden/Silver Age Panel -- A gathering of veterans of the comic book biz, this year featuring Sheldon Moldoff (Batman), Everett Raymond Kinstler (Hawkman), Luis Dominguez (Jonah Hex), John Romita (Amazing Spider-Man), Arnold Drake (The Doom Patrol), and Irwin Hasen (All-Star Comics). Mark Evanier hosts.

SDCP09_060722_029.JPG: Known today mostly for his official portraits of famous folk -- the National Portrait Gallery includes his portraits of Katherine Hepburn, Gerald Ford, Tom Wolfe, Patrick Moynihan, Norman Mineta, Rudy Giuliani (from when he was still respected), Gregory Peck, and Ronald Reagan -- Everett Raymond Kinstler was also a wonderful comic book and pulp artist from the 1940s and 1950s. He's shown here at a San Diego Comic-Con panel back in 2006. Kinstler passed on May 26.

SDCP09_060722_124.JPG: Irwin Hasen, shown here with John Romita Sr. in 2006, was best known as the co-creator of the "Dondi" comic strip which started in 1954. He also created the DC character Wildcat. He died on March 13, 2015.

2006 photos: Trips this year: Florida (two separate trips including Lotusphere and taking care of mom), three weeks out west (including Yellowstone), Williamsburg, San Diego (comic book convention), and Georgia.
Equipment this year: I was using all six Fuji cameras at various times -- an S602Zoom, two S7000s,a S5200, an S9000, and an S9100. The majority of pictures this year were taken with the S9000. I have to say, the S7000s was the best camera I've used up to this point..
Number of photos taken this year: 183,000.
