- Description of Pictures: Kevin O’Connor enters his second season this year as host of "This Old House," "Ask This Old House" and "Inside This Old House." As a youngster, he and his brothers and sisters had various chores on job sites where his father was a civil engineer. Later, as an avid home enthusiast and lifelong "This Old House" fan, he and his wife sent an e-mail to "Ask this Old House" for help in renovating their Victorian fixer-upper. The segment resulted in his first screen test, and the rest is history. For his debut season on "This Old House", Mr. O'Connor was nominated for an "Outstanding Service Show Host" Emmy Award, and in addition to hosting all three shows, he serves on the editorial board of This Old House magazine. He lives with his wife, north of Boston, in the home they are in the midst of renovating.
Renovating houses since he was a child working alongside his dad and brother, Tom Silva today appears on "This Old House," "Ask This Old House," and "Inside This Old House." His family’s construction company, Silva Brothers Construction, made up of Tom, his brother, and nephew, built the original set for the WGBH-TV Boston production of "The Victory Garden" when they were then selected to be the general contractors for "This Old House." Now celebrating his 18th year during the 2004-05 season as a member of the "This Old House" home improvement team, Mr. Silva has provided years of expert advice as a general contractor to home enthusiasts across the country. He has contributed to several books, including Complete Remodeling (This Old House Books in conjunction with Sunset Books, 2004), and is on the editorial board of This Old House magazine. He lives with his family in a 19th century house he continues to renovate in a Boston suburb.

I love well-behaved spiders! They are, in fact, how most people find my site. Unfortunately, my network has a limited bandwidth and pictures take up bandwidth. Spiders ask for lots and lots of pages and chew up lots and lots of bandwidth which slows things down considerably for regular folk. To counter this, you'll see all the text on the page but the images are being suppressed. Also, some system options like merges are being blocked for you.
