1. CWPTLR_030426_003.JPG: These pictures are taken at Amelia County Court House, where Lee was expecting a supply train with food. When the train arrived, it was ammunition instead. He sent men out to forage for food but they didn't return with much. His men would have to move on to try for food.
2. CWPTLR_030426_057.JPG: Chris fondly talks about the historical marker, erected by the Sons of Confederate Veterans, which is wrong in numerous areas. Troop counts are wrong, general's names are wrong, etc.
3. CWPTLR_030426_118.JPG: This dog showed up when we were seeing the Sailor's Creek memorial. He turned out to be the newly adopted dog of the park ranger who would be manning the visitor center at the Hillsman House.
4. CWPTLR_030426_151.JPG: Various props to explain the Civil War battles around here

2003 photos: Equipment this year: I decided my Epson digital camera wasn't quite enough for what I wanted. Since I already had Compact Flash chips for it, I had to find another camera which used CF chips. That brought me to buy the Fujifilm S602 Zoom in March 2003. A great digital camera, I used it exclusively for an entire year. Trips this year: Three-week trip this year out west, mostly in Utah. Number of photos taken this year: 68,000.
