- (021017) The GWU students are involved (doing chair-warming in this case) before two of four hosts make the stage. The two hosts this time were James Carville (the bald guy, from the Clinton administration) and Tucker Carlson (the bow-tie guy). The pictures taken afterward were e-mailed to the students in the photos. It wasn't until I went to this filming that I really started to get paranoid about the snipers who still hadn't been apprehended. This changed because this particular show featured a military sniper who said that the snipers were poorly trained and that anyone could do this sort of thing with less than an hour of training. The thought of the US training people who's main purpose was to pick off unsuspecting people--who you'd hope are military figures but you realize we probably kill anyone if it helps our strategic purposes--made me wonder about the definition of terrorism.

- (021126) Another visit to Crossfire. I thought the hosts were more interesting when they included the sometimes insane James Carville but these two, Paul Begala and Bob Novak, presented a well thought out if not that fascinating show. But it might have been the subject matter (demise of the Democrats, SEC regulation, and Pat Robertson is an idiot).
